Data Journals at the Prague winter school

I have the great pleasure to be in Prague for the DARIAH/HaS winter school on Data Citation this week. Tomorrow, I will talk about data journals (are they going to save us from the wrongdoings of pre-publication peer reviews?) and will present the episciences platform for overlay journals with the help of my French colleagues Marie Puren, who will help out in the hands-on session, and Maud Medves, who has been helping me set up the sandbox over the past weeks.

Winter school participants (and the speakers willing to play with us in the data journal sandbox) will have the opportunity to develop a rating grid for a data journal, define a review model, write a rationale for the journal and find potentially interesting data resources.
